The favor of God is for each and every one of his children. It is a flow from the Father’s heart to our own, wrapped up in the very design of who we are in Him. He favors us with the potential for every earthly and heavenly blessing. We are favored in such unique individual ways that when we seek other’s blessings, we are in danger of missing our own! He pours out his wonderfully crafted favor upon each one of us and calls to us from heavenly places saying, “There is more, come and seek me.”
 
The stairs at the bottom of the picture represent our foundation of righteousness (a gift from Jesus).
 
The olive tree represents us as one who is rooted and growing on that foundation of righteousness.
 
We are watered with the fragrant new wine of the Lord – His teachings, blessings, favor, and growth in all that he has for us.
 
The white staircase in the background represents the path for all of the favor of God to flow, as we grow and stay rooted in Him. It is a two-way path in which God seeks us and we seek Him.
 
Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
